As you will be aware the Ministry of Health have reclassified a specific range of medications to Restricted Medicines (Pharmacist Only), or in one specific case to Prescription Only.

Click here to access a listing which has been provided but may not necessarily be complete and final. (An update will be provided by the end of next week)

We will put a statement out regarding returns once we know more finite details of all the changes.

At this point it time we are unable to accept any of the products involved in this reclassification for credit. Please do not return stock as a refusal may offend and that is not our intention.

There is a lot of stock packaged as Pharmacy Only Medicine and the Ministry of Health has indicated that pharmacy can continue to sell this product on a Pharmacist Only basis until around 21 August 2019.  Given we are heading into the cough and cold season this should enable you to clear existing stocks.

The exception is Gee’s Linctus which has gone straight to Prescription Only effective from 25 February 2019.

Please refer to the below website for detail, we hope to have more information soon.

Together we can make this a seamless and painless transition.

We thank you in anticipation of your ongoing support.
