As per the information provided by STADA they anticipate a significant drop in demand for MOVAPO 20 mg / 2 ml.  That raises a potential issue with respect to stock holding and supply which we will manage accordingly.

During the transition ProPharma /PWR will reduce stock holding by centralising stock holding of the 2 ml presentation to potentially two branches. While this will mean a slight delay in your order receipt it will prevent excess stock being held and potentially written off.

We will ensure we have the new presentation available to purchase the week prior to funding commencing 1 February 2020.

We ask that you support us through this transition. It is not our desire to delay processing and delivery of stock, but in this situation we need to manage stock extremely well to avoid creating potential losses for pharmacy and / or wholesaler.

The supply of Verapamil hydrochloride has been disrupted with the supplier of Verpamil SR Tab 120 mg 250 discontinuing this product effective from 5 December 2019.

As per the Pharmaceutical Schedule Update 1 October 2019, there was to be a replacement by way of Isoptin SR Tab 120 mg 100 Pharmacode 2571897 listed 1 October 2019. Unfortunately this product has not arrived and there was a further alternative listed from 1 December 2020.
